Pastor Keith Lingwall was born in Moline, Illinois, the son of Ray and
Ena Lingwall, their first born. His early years were spent in Red Oak, Iowa,
and high school years in Des Moines, Iowa.


Following graduation from Augustana College, Rock Island, Illinois,
he enrolled in the Lutheran School of Theology Chicago, on the Rock
Island, IL campus. This was a time of the merger of five seminaries into
one campus, adjacent to the University of Chicago. He was in the last
class to finish on the Rock Island Campus.


He completed his training with Chaplaincy study at the University of
Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. Ordained on a call to serve Zion Lutheran
Church in Fort William, Ontario, Canada, they relocated to this area for
ministry.


Joining him on this journey of faith was his wife, Susan, and his
eldest daughter. During this five year ministry, two more children were
added to the family, a girl and a boy.


The family moved back to the states, settling in North Central
Kansas, where he serve as administrative pastor for a coalition of nine
congregations, served by five pastors.Another daughter joined the family
too.


Following this ministry was a twelve year ministry in Fairfield, Iowa, a
county seat town, where he also swerved on the city council.
There was a call answered to serve as senior pastor to King of Glory
Lutheran church in Arvada, Colorado, in the Denver metro area, where he
served also for twelve years.


Martin Luther Home Society, a ministry of the church with
developmentally challenged folks extended a call to serve as a
development officer, which took us back to Des Moines, Iowa as a base for
four years.


A two year interim ministry in northwest Iowa completed active
ministry. Following retirements, there have been three additional interim
ministries. We now live permanently in Tucson, where the latest interim
ministry at Abounding Grace Lutheran Church.
